The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) offers its members education, support and networking to help advance their careers in construction, build their technical skills, and become leaders. Our Purpose is to support women in the construction industry through professional development, business opportunity and community outreach and mentoring programs. Whether you want to embark on a new career, establish a networking base, be a mentor/mentee, make a difference in your community, continue your education, or invest in great friendships—NAWIC offers a variety of opportunities—large and small. All women working in construction are eligible for membership, including women builders in the trades, project management, marketing, administration, and executive leadership. Women in related industries who work on construction related business, such as finance, legal, and other complementary industries, are welcome as well.

construction industry. Our Purpose is to support women in the construction industry through professional
development, business opportunity and community outreach and mentoring programs.

PROMOTE COOPERATION

To promote cooperation, fellowship and a better understanding among members of the Association. Our
Purpose is to support women in the construction industry through professional development, business
opportunity and community outreach and mentoring programs.

EDUCATION AND CONTRIBUTION

To promote education and contribute to the betterment of the construction industry. NEF Certification programs
provide the skills and tools you need to start or advance your career. ACCE Accreditation: American Council for
Construction Education. ACCE has a mission to promote and support quality construction education programs and approve certification of industry-related professional development programs that meet ACCE certification criteria. Carrying a ACCE certification demonstrates to the construction industry and students that NEF performs periodic self-evaluations to keep current with emerging technologies and requirements of the construction industry.

Construction Document Technician (CDT)
Construction Industry Specialist (CIS)
Construction Industry Technician (CIT)
Estimating & Scheduling Practitioner (ESP)

Your Builders Club / Inspector Club sponsorship will assist NAWIC Atlanta members in affording these vital
industry wide acknowledged certifications.
